<DIV style="FONT: 10pt arial"><B>Subject:</B> [Vision2020] Doug Wilson's NW
answer</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>Two days ago, I emailed Doug Wilson to see if he was No
Weatherman or if he knew he or another Anselm House habitue' was presumed to
be No Weatherman. I told him Weatherman was not only a real ass, but, if
not him or one of his staff or elders, someone who also undoubtedly
enjoys the fact that many people think his missives originate from a Kirker,
if not from Wilson himself. Here is our correspondence, in which he says
he isn't and doesn't know who is, with my thanks:<BR><BR>Keely,<BR><BR>Thanks
for checking. I haven't looked at V2020 for a year or two, and really have no
idea. I am not "No Weatherman," and don't know of anyone who might be doing
that. I don't even know enough to say whether I would <I>mind </I>being "No
Weatherman."<BR><BR>Cordially in Christ,<BR>Douglas Wilson<BR><BR>To my
question of whether or not I could post his response:<BR><BR>sure<BR><BR>* * *
* * * * *<BR>(Keely again)<BR><BR>So there are three things I know without
dispute:<BR><BR>1. No Weatherman is a coward, a bigot, a troublemaker
and a snot who refuses to answer my offlist questions about his
identity.<BR><BR>2. Wilson says it isn't him or, to his knowledge, no
one he knows.<BR><BR>3. That doesn't mean it ISN'T someone he knows, and
it doesn't mean that person ISN'T enjoying the presumption of Anselm-ness that
is the conventional wisdom. And yeah -- I still think it likely is a
Kirker.<BR><BR>And, one more for today: The whole thing is
terribly, terribly sad, and if Wilson does ever discover who NW is, I hope he
acts pastoral and, figuratively, gives him a swift kick in the
ass.<BR><BR>Keely<BR>http://keely-prevailingwinds.blogspot.com/<BR><BR>
