It is also interesting to realize that Gov Palin's state is only 58
miles across the Bering Strait from Russian territory. I suppose she
never has to think about that as she wanders through her daily
"governor" routine. Wonder if the feds ever talk to her about that
issue - wonder if the Georgia conflict has any impact on her thoughts?
She is closer to "potentially hostile" foreign relations than any
governor in the US - followed closely by AZ, TX, NM, CA
Guess she would never have to ponder the stakes associated with our
huge energy deposits only 58 miles from Russia. Yeah, right - she is
never brought up to date on those types of relations.
