<div>The Weather Channel just televised a news conference with governor Crist of Florida, about historic Florida flooding (30 inches in some areas), the roll out of the National Guard, declarations of a state of emergency, etc. Tropical Storm Fay has stalled over Florida, thus the huge rain event. The upside to this eventually could be that Fay will drop significant rain on drought stricken areas of the Southeast, as it turns to the west inland. I could not quickly locate Internet sources for this latest development, but the news story below offers some idea of what is happening:</div>
