<DIV><FONT face=Arial>OK. so at the edge of Moscow Mountain (next to the
Phillips Farm) , we had thunder and lightening, a bit of rain, some mediocre
wind. We battened down the hatches, covering all the tender greens, the basil,
and the tomatoes. Waste of energy, and lots of wet sheets!!! On the other hand,
if we had not battened, I'd betcha we would have had three inch hail, lost the
veg, and cursed ourselves in the morning!...I love the adrenaline rush of
farming on the Palouse!!!</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>It was a lovely storm. Cooled things off nicely, and
standing in the yard watching the lightening was a seasonal delight! Anyone want
a bunch of basil---the storm (and bedsheets!) left it untouched! We have basil
and garlic; you provide the olive oil, pinenuts, and parmesian
cheese.</FONT></DIV>
