<div>NASA's James Hansen, director of the Goddard Institute for Space Studies, was interviewed on NPR today regarding his scientific research, efforts to educate the public about climate change, and the political and economic forces working against him. A controversial and often attacked figure for this outspoken stance that anthropogenic climate change is a serious problem, based on solid science, his testimony before the US Senate 20 years ago has for the most part been vindicated by the evidence for anthropogenic climate change uncovered by the research of the global climate science community in the past 20 years: </div>
