The claim has been made, and will continue to be made, that the people locked up in Gitmo are people who have been shooting at our troops.<br><br>It may be true for some of them. I would oppose the place as much if it were the idea of either Clinton. To capture or kidnap people and hold them indefinitely is repugnant to what used to be our ideals. So are the renditions, whether under Clinton or Bush.<br><br>Yesterday Donovan said something to the effect of 'What kind of asshole do you have to be that no country will take you?<br><br>I'll ask another question: What kind of asshole do you have to be to defend Guantanimo and advocate torture?
