University of Idaho President Tim White is being considered for chancellor at the University of California in Riverside.The University of California Board of Regents is expected to appoint a new chancellor in a closed session Thursday morning.<BR>The
Press-Enterprise in Riverside, Calif., reported Wednesday morning that
government sources said the new chancellor could come from Idaho.<BR>Sources told the Idaho Statesman that White has been interested in the job and is under consideration.<BR>White
informed the Idaho State Board of Education last month that he's been
in discussions with another college about assuming a leadership
position.<BR>He's declined to name the school.
