outlook could ask, "Why isn't there someone on the panel who believes harmony
and peace are unattainable?"</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman">If you look at human history, everywhere, it
not just a European phenomenon (attn: Chas), war is a constant throughout
that history. Peace is not.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman">Humans have fought each other for thousands
upon thousands of years. I highly doubt there has been period of note where
there has not been a war somewhere on this planet.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman">Therefore, it is only logical to conclude that
war is the natural state of humankind. Peace is unnatural, and therefore cannot
be sustained for any notable length of time.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman">A rather bleak outlook, isn't it?</FONT></DIV>

for the comment. But even so, 1 of 8 isn't all that
representative. Trinity Baptist, where I used to attend has
never chosen to involve itself in any local Interfaith
efforts. The congregation perceives that kind
of involvement as a dilution of Baptist tenets.
