<div>The Earth Policy Institute has made Lester R. Brown's new book "Plan B 2.0" available online, free, in its entirety, as far as I can tell. I downloaded a chapter in PDF format, and a window popped up asking the reader to either join their list serve or make a donation, but the chapter downloaded in totality. This book documents starkly why Garrett Clevenger's comments above are true. The current consumer lifestyle of the average US citizen is linked to the destruction of ecosystems on a global scale. And China and India, with over 2 billion in population, to some extent modeling their economic growth on US patterns, are accelerating this damage. This is not a theory, or speculation. It is a fact:</div>
