<div>In the past 1997-2007 decade, only two record low daily temperatures were set in Moscow for the months Nov.-Feb.(a 121 day period, counting leap year), in Nov., not in the coldest months of Dec.-Feb. This data came from <a href="http://weather.com">weather.com</a>. The 1900-1909 decade has the second lowest number of daily record lows set in this break down, with 5. This data does not look at all possible ten year periods from 1890 till the present, and only looks at record daily lows, not what the average temperature by decade was over the whole winter, but does suggest what some locally claim, that the winters in Moscow recently are not as cold as "old timers" remember them:</div>
