that apparently started late Wednesday night in

style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">.<BR minmax_bound="true">Palouse
Country Sports, located in an adjacent building with a common wall, also
suffered smoke damage, said Joe Williams, fire marshal and division chief with
the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department. <BR minmax_bound="true"><BR
minmax_bound="true">Fire crews arrived at </SPAN><st1:time Hour="23"
Minute="23"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">11:23
p.m.</SPAN></st1:time><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">
Wednesday at </SPAN><st1:Street><st1:address><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">222 N. Main
St.</SPAN></st1:address></st1:Street><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">, within three minutes of being
called out, and spent an hour and 40 minutes getting the blaze under control,
Williams said.<BR minmax_bound="true"><BR minmax_bound="true">They entered
through a back garage door because they could not gain access to the fire
through the front entrance. “The fire was primarily in the rear of the building,
but there was smoke damage in the front. It’s going to ruin whatever they had up
there too and the roof collapsed in the rear of the building,” Williams said.
<BR minmax_bound="true"><BR minmax_bound="true">Firefighters believe the fire
may have started in a shop area where a truck was parked with tanks for
servicing porta-potties, Williams said. <BR minmax_bound="true"><BR
minmax_bound="true">The truck and other equipment in the immediate vicinity was
totally destroyed, Williams said. <BR minmax_bound="true">Investigators haven’t
yet identified a cause of the fire and damage estimates were not available. A
state fire marshal will be on scene today to assist.
