Yes, Gerry did, in fact, give MSD its current space for Paradise Creek Regional High School and funded its remodeling, supplied it with fixtures and equipment, and has been an outstanding advocate for non-traditional students. He is also a former MSD school board trustee. All of which make his lawsuit against the district and the bullying attitude behind it so very disappointing.

And yeah, the PCRHS building rents for a buck a year -- by any reasonable standard, that's a gift and a very valuable one at that. I believe that Gerry Weitz deeply cares about non-traditional students; I believe his manner of expressing it in the last year has been deplorable.

Keely

> Date: Tue, 27 Nov 2007 21:25:01 -0800
> From: godshatter@yahoo.com
> To: donovanjarnold2005@yahoo.com
> CC: vision2020@moscow.com; joekc@adelphia.net
> Subject: Re: [Vision2020] Judge rules March schoo levy null and void
>
> Then he should keep trying, but not by using methods that are ethically
> dubious.
