Gee, this seems obvious . . . <br><br>State law holds that the school district, as a taxing entity, conducts its elections for levy increases. <br><br>MSD believed the previous levy ballot wording was in accordance with that same law. Its lawyers, and, I believe, the State Department of Education, reviewed the ballot language. The judge held that the wording was not correct. The most recent levy had to be run again, which is what the rest of us voted for or against today. <br><br>I contend that your criticism that MSD administers school district levy elections is unfair. </style> I resent, Donovan, your cheap shot and insinuation that MSD is dishonest because it follows Idaho State Code and, as a taxing entity, runs its elections according to specific requirements set out within that code. Further, no one, least of all MSD, is trying to stop you from voting. than ten minute walk to the fairgrounds to<br>vote. It's also less than ten minutes to the courthouse if you want to<br>vote absentee. None too difficult.
