Gary,<br><br>I'm not "normally demure." I'm normally just a straight-talking and opinionated woman who writes better than some and worse than others. I'm often stubborn, occasionally intemperate, frequently passionate, and always genuine.<br><br>Currently, though, I'm astonished, if not more than a little amused, that you would seemingly fail to realize that "poopy-headed booger eater" was in jest. I was serious about "badgering, bellicose twits," "stubborn, truculent ass," and even "testosto-twits." But really, Gary -- "poopy" and "booger" aren't words I use unless pointing out when someone's being immature in his or her belligerence. It's irony, you big silly.<br><br>(And please refresh my memory on the object of "stubborn, truculent ass." I want to make sure I don't repeat myself in referring to anyone in particular).<br><br>With nary a "neener, neener, neener" --<br><br>keely<br><br><br><br><br><blockquote><hr>From: jampot@roadrunner.com<br>To: sunilramalingam@hotmail.com<br>Date: Sun, 28 Oct 2007 14:03:40 -0700<br>CC: vision2020@moscow.com<br>Subject: Re: [Vision2020] Sub-minimum wage<br><br>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2">No, I call him Mr. Campbell because that is what I
was brought up to regard as the correct way to address a stranger who I
am not on friendly terms with. I do not call him Dr. Campbell
because I reserve the prefix for MD's and introductions where using the term
will convey due respect and information in that context. In my day to day
interaction with people I almost never use the term. That said, there is no
question but what I occasionally do a poor job of hiding my lack of
regard for Mr. Campbell. If this occasionally comes out in my responses to
him, so be it. As I have said before, I don't consider myself a
saint.</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2">When it comes to things posted to this list, insult
often tends to be the rule rather then the exception. Please
consider:</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2">You to another vision member: " moron, a
pathetic imbecilic braying ass, the Biggest Idiot on the
Palouse, liar, a prolapsed rectum"</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2">Mr. Campbell to me: "ponyboy, ignorant slut, idiot,
hack, coward, bigot, stupid, and jackass"</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2">Mr. Hansen of his pals: "No-clue, His Whineyness,
Comb-Over, Brainless, and Crabpot"</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2">Even the normally demure Ms. Mix: "badgering
bellicose pest, stubborn truculent ass, testosto-twits, and poopy headed booger
eater"</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2">Need I go on?</font></div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2"></font> </div>
<div><font face="Arial" size="2">All this is not to imply that I think insult is
"fine, acceptable behavior" but, to acknowledge that when opinions
conflict sometimes the level of discourse might suffer. The fact that no one
from the MCA leapt in to criticize any of the above remarks is most likely NOT
indicative of their "endorsement of the politics of hate," or that the
candidates that they endorse are in some way complicit. To imagine otherwise
would be illogical and a mite foolish.</font></div>
