one PBS channel (our main TV viewing) and the Lewiston station, so it
really doesn't matter. We get news from NPR, newspapers, and the internet. Still
only dial-up available where we live, but we get a wide perspective of info from
all over the world. Somehow, we manage just fine without cable or dish
service,,,,and we get to read, play cards and board games, and have good
conversations without all the media distraction and marketing. Renting movies
once a week is plenty of TV screen viewing for us. </FONT></DIV>

for free. No ads at all, and most hour shows are 42 minutes long. It is really

important part of the show. I was watching Eureka, a great show, IMHO, but I
found virtually impossible to watch with a huge "GHOST HUNTERS" icon above
the Sci Fi icon, which takes up about 1/10 of the screen. </DIV>
