seems clear that noise is a pretty significant problem for some people or in

I think there is a barking dog ordinance that is separate
from this noise ordinance, what does it say? Does it have a time
limit? Maybe the two could mirror each other, noise is noise. Maybe
someone can explain EXACTLY what passed by Council vs what will be considered
by the Admin Comm. I trust our police, our current chief and assistant chief,
but we may not always trust all of their predecessors. That is why there
needs to be some kind of check in play with this ordinance. Not because
of the situation now, but for the future.

Wonderful Sunil, Garrett,
Gary. After you hold hands and sing Kum Bah Ya for a bit would you work
together to fix the proposed ordinance. I don't want a hot garage band to
be silenced, but then I'd be really happy if a vehicle as loud as a
NASCAR competitor or a 2am party fracas could be shut down immediately rather
than 48 hours later. You bright fellows will surely be able to suggest
solutions to undo the Draconian parts and allow us all to remain
boisterous but unoffensive.
Happy weekend.
