if you re-read the post from Rose Huskey (I think it was Rose),
you'll see that this concept drawing was for the "D Street
campus". Significant changes would have to be made to shoe horn
it into the Main St. location.

The building itself is beautiful. *warm
smile* The inside is probably going to be stunning. I just don't
understand why the "campus" of religious buildings
aren't in one place. The students would then park there during
the week, the congregation on the weekend. It would be a huge
undertaking. However, in my mind, it seems quite
logical in long term planning. Plus, it would alleviate
some of the critics.

It doesn't matter to me what religion
wants a church there, this lot is not acceptable. The traffic is
frequently congested in this area of town. While there may be
"plenty of parking" it will be at the expense
of families in the surrounding neighborhoods, students, or family
of patients. It is stressful enough having a loved on in the hospital
without needing to search for a parking place. It could
also increase the expenses for Gritman, as I would imagine they
will need a parking lot attendant.

With regard to parking, I suppose there could be 10 floors

What do you think, folks?
