I don't know what email program you use, but if you use Mozilla
Thunderbird then you can set the maximum size of a file that you will
automatically download under Account Settings / <your email
account> / Disk Space. I assume that Outlook and Outlook Express
have similar types of settings. I don't know about the various web
utilities such as gmail, yahoo, or hotmail.

Also, most programs have an "offline" mode that you can use to reduce
the amount of time you are connected to the internet while reading mail.

Glad you enjoyed them. I thought they were so much above the usual stuff I
often get that I forwarded them to Vision, which was a major mistake because
I got emails from a couple of folks whose machines I gummed up with the
large file. I wish there were some way to filter material such as this so
it wouldn't go through a dial up modem but would go on to those with the
capability to download it easily. When we are doing our winter vacation out
of Moscow I have to use dial up and know very well how much trouble a big
file causes me. Even large teacher files containing student worksheets,
etc. will cause my download to take forever. Is there a reasonable solution
to this problem?
Anybody....I know I'm not the expert here.

Sue,
Thanks for the fantastic slide show! One might be able to do that neat
train ride and see the caves (sometime in near future I hope) on the same
trip.

Hope you enjoy them.
