I used to think pineapple came from Hawaii. . . and maybe it did when I was a kid. . . but now pick up almost any can and it was processed in Thailand. Then you pick up the newspaper and you read about the latest riot and political unrest in Thailand. . . . probably just down the street from the pineapple factory. Sure, it's all processed in accordance with U.S. specs. . . but, hell, then you find out a dog food company can't even trust a processing plant to formulate their product. . . and that one is right here in the U.S. So, what makes you think that pineapple is safe?</STRONG></P>

I heard this several times while there, and it was nice to hear that the bread was declared "safe". Now when I toast up my "Cascade Pride" oat, honey and hazelnut bread I feel good knowing someone in Oregon is looking out for me.</STRONG></DIV>
