<H3>Vice president taken to hospital after discomfort in leg with blood
clot</H3>
<P>WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Vice President Dick Cheney was taken to <FONT
color=#0000ff>George Washington University Medical Center</FONT> on Tuesday
after suffering from discomfort in the same leg where a blood clot was found
earlier this month, officials from his office said.</P>
<P>Cheney spokeswoman Megan McGinn first told reporters that the vice president
was merely meeting with his doctor at the medical center for a routine follow-up
visit regarding the blood clot that was found in his lower left leg March 5.</P>
<P>But she later said that Cheney did have some discomfort earlier this morning
and, after consulting with his physicians, he went to the medical facility for
another ultrasound on the clot.</P></DIV></BODY></HTML>
