There were no beads and no girls flashing. We didn't pretend to be New Orleans. Just the Palouse trying to get over the winter blahs with a little fun. The whole event was a black and white theme and even the posters reflect this. One ticket was good at any of the many venues and the bus made it's run all evening taking the party goers from one stop to the next. And it wasn't just the college crowd out dancing and having fun. . . . why, there were even people older than me!

Let's just say that it was classy and not trashy.

team
>wheeling around a mannequin in a shopping cart for
>some reason. The paper sculptures were beautiful and
>the parade seemed to last longer than the usual 8
>minute Moscow parade. I didn't go to the Beaux Arts
>ball but always heard good reviews. There used to be a
>bus you could ride all around town to the different
>bars (when there were lots more of them) and over to
>Pullman. There were lots of live bands, too.
