<div>And how many people out there really really deeply care? The indifference of many to humanity's horrendous extermination of species on a planetary scale raises serious questions about E. O. Wilson's "Biophilia" hypothesis. However, in practical terms, his hypothesis is useful insofar as it may encourage the very broad love of all life he obviously wishes to promote.
