hesitate to offer another "update." However, understanding
that many people may not have gotten a clear idea of the scene from those who
went there to help or survived it, the following Oregon State Police link
may be informative. It shows the bridge and the
guardrail/barrier over which John apparently jumped or fell. The
pictures do not convey what John encountered on Sunday night, in the dark,
amidst a driving rain and 40-45 mph winds. The latest written update is
