. Retirees will receive a 3.80% COLA on March 1st<br>

. 12.4 % is the return on the PERSI portfolio for the past
fiscal year<br>

. The total portfolio exceeds 10 billion dollars<br>
<br>
. The contribution rates for employers and employees will
remain the<br>
same for the coming fiscal year. An increase
had been contemplated<br>
for 07 and 08 and those are on hold. Should
be good economic news<br>
for school districts and employees.<br>
<br>
The PERSI Board will be meeting later this month to finalize these<br>
decision and make things official, but Alan indicated it was
pretty<br>
much a done deal.<br>
