I recently attended a meeting where the head of the
airport talked about the new funds the airport will be asking for to extend
right where they are...I believe that will be a terrible waste of money! I
believe it is time to bite the bullet and get land five ten miles out somewhere
and build one big enough to actually meet our future needs. If we don't mess up
and get no new business and this airport will do just fine for Moscow for a long
time. Pullman may need new changes without Moscow but there would still be
planes flying over both cities and we should be aware that is a tragedy looking
for a place to happen. I do not want to spend anymore money on the airport where
it is locked in now. I know that any place the airport is the area will build up
but we could get more land than we have now and it would meet our future needs
longer than the mess we are in now.
