I'd like to make a pitch as well for third parties in our government.
I think the two-party system that we more-or-less have now is more
detrimental to our needs as a society that one with three or more
parties would be. More parties would mean that more compromises would
be able to be achieved. Two parties just polarize on issues that are
emotional.

So consider yourself an independent voter and vote on what the issues
are and how you feel about the individual candidates without respect to
their official party affiliation. If you want to save this country a
lot of trouble, look past the emotional issues and at least consider
the others as well.

As far as possible sex offenders in Congress go, if laws were broken
they should be removed from their positions or resign like Foley did.
If no laws are being broken, then who cares who is doing who? I sure
don't.
arguing about who's party has the least number of sex offenders. One
thing is for sure, neither side can run out of examples against the
other.
Why does society keep a system of government that is so clearly wrong,
corrupt, and clearly doesn't represent the best interests of the
people? If you cannot trust them alone with your son or daughter, why
are you leaving them alone to run the country?

When your political system forces you to choose between two parities
that have countless sex offenders and felons it is time to get a new
political system. Don't ya think?
Foley was gone in an hour and a half when the repubs learned the full
truth
of what was happening. Unlike the dems who had someone caught actually
having sex with a page and he stayed 12 years more!! The ethics
committee
needs to put them all under oath and see what the truth is and I bet the
dems come out with much to explain.
