02:50 PM PDT<BR><BR>MOSCOW, Idaho - The pastor of a church in Moscow was
arrested for allegedly <BR>sexually abusing a child over a period of several
years during the 1980's in <BR>California.<BR><BR>Investigators say William
Alan Malgren, pastor of the Grace Baptist Church <BR>in Moscow, repeatedly
abused a student at Thousand Oaks Baptist School in <BR>California. Malgren
was the pastor at the church at the time. They say he <BR>began sexually
assaulting the girl when she was seven years old, and <BR>continued the
abuse until the boy was 14.<BR><BR>Sheriff's investigators in Washington say
Malgren has been involved with <BR>churches in California, Idaho, Washington
and Iowa. Because of his position <BR>of authority, investigators say they
are concerned about the possibility of <BR>other unreported victims. Malgren
is currently being two separate child sex <BR>abuse charges, both of them
related to the same victim.<BR><BR>Malgren is expected to waive extradition
to California, and will likely be <BR>jailed in Ventura County, California
within the next few days.<BR><BR><BR><BR>J
