When a 3 bedroom apartment is going for $1000 a month in a small Idaho town, there is not a huge vacancy rate.

People want houses because spending $1000 on an apartment is ridiculous when you can get a $200K mortgage for $800 a month. Rent is money down the drain and $1000 a month is nothing to gawk at for most people. Moscow needs a lot more housing. Not to mention a lot of these old large houses converted to 4-8 apartments need to be torn down or renovated.

Best,

_DJA

Matt Decker <mattd2107@hotmail.com> wrote:
J,

Where are all of the people moving to Moscow living at then, I doubt its all
boarding houses.
