face="Times New Roman" size=3>The Moscow Civic Association will sponsor a free
public forum on Monday, October 9, at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns =
"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:time Hour="19"
Minute="0">7pm</st1:time> at the 1912 Center in
<st1:City><st1:place>Moscow</st1:place></st1:City> focusing on the suggestion of
building a reservoir for an alternate community water source.</FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 0.5in"><FONT
size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">As the region’s source of water, the
below-ground aquifers, continues to diminish, one suggestion is building a
reservoir (similar to <st1:City><st1:place>Troy</st1:place></st1:City>’s Spring
Valley Reservoir) near <st1:City><st1:place>Moscow</st1:place></st1:City>.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>This forum, entitled “Water Solutions:
Is Moscow Ready for a Reservoir?”, will discuss the pros and cons of that
option. <o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></P>

size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">A five-member panel will lead the discussion
at the forum.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The public is
encouraged to bring your questions and ideas to share with the panel

city supervisor; Steve Robischon, the Palouse Basin Advisory Committee executive
manager; Jerry Fairley, UI assistant professor of hydrogeology; <SPAN

Palouse Water Conservation Network; and Mark Solomon, coordinator of the Latah
