Judging from the menu, it doesn't sound like they're going to be doing a full fledged breakfast. Coffee and French pasteries doesn't stand up to bacon, eggs and hash browns on a Sunday morning. . . . . maybe for a coffee break the rest of the week.

Basilios tried a breakfast buffet, but it didn't fly. Italian sounding names don't draw a breakfast crowd. . . customers think of pasta and dinner.

The same may hold true for French restaurants. . . would you really go to a French restaurant for breakfast if given a choice?

The previous restaurant,
>Zume (a weird name meaning "yeast" in Greek!), lost a lot of Sunday
> business to The Breakfast Club, which has customers waiting both
>inside and outside every Sunday morning. They are full to
>overflowing with both students and after-church patrons, like me
>and my friends, even thought they close at 2 PM. The University Inn
>also has waiting lines for Sunday lunch all year round. If
Zume had
>based its opening hours on economic reality instead of ancient
>superstition it would probably still be in business today.
>Ralph Nielsen
>
>
>=====================================================
>List services made available by First Step Internet, serving the
>communities of the Palouse since 1994.
>http://www.fsr.net
>mailto:Vision2020@moscow.com
>====================================================
