<P>THIRD SUMMER SEASON OF HEART OF THE ARTS PLAZA CONCERTS CONTINUES WITH THE
BOOGEY DOCTORS</P>
<P>Monday night, July 10, continues the third season of Heart of the Arts Plaza
Concert Series on the plaza at the 1912 Center, 410 East Third Street,
Moscow.</P>
<P>Heart of the Arts, a local non-profit, dedicated to advancing the arts and
community in and around Moscow, has focused its attention on the development of
the 1912 Center and showing to the community some of its potential. Out of this
effort came the Plaza Concert Series, highlighting the excellent acoustics and
pleasant summer evening setting for enjoying a light supper, either by picnic
from home, or with savories and sweets purchased on the Plaza. </P>
<P>July 10 at 6 P.M. refreshments will be available for purchase and the Plaza
will be available for home-designed picnics before Moscow’s very own Boogie
Doctors begin their concert at 6:30 P.M. The Boogie Doctors include Fritz Knorr,
trumpet and vocals; Jeanne McHale, keyboard and vocals; and Gina Gormley, drums.
They play boogie woogie, blues, jazz, some originals, and (when forced)
<BR>polkas. Their motto is "We want to heal your blues." They are truly a
home-grown bunch, having played at the Renaissance Fair, the Harvest of Harmony,
the Moscow Food Coop, and numerous private parties on the Palouse. "As
"doctors," we believe in the healing power of music, and our goal in life is to
make people FEEL GOOD," said keyboard doctor, Jeanne McHale.</P>
<P>The final Heart of the Arts Plaza Concert will be the second Monday in August
on the Plaza, August 14, at 6 P.M. with Classical Brass.</P>
