Did you catch the end of the mens singles at the French open. That was some real human drama.

A!

On 6/13/06, Larson Hicks <

I didn't get to watch the match, but a friend video taped it for me, so I'll have more to talk about soon, but just thought I'd let everyone know that the perfect Federer got smoked by Nadal! This is the 6th time that Nadal has beat Federer, who is still ranked number one for the 124th week running (3rd longest EVER). This was Nadal's 60th straight victory on clay.
Frank DeFord mentioned that Tiger Woods doesn't have the respect that he could because his competition is so far beneath him. Federer, on the other hand, has legitimate competition in Nadal, and therefore, has proven his right to be number 1. I don't think Nadal's speed is going to translate onto the grass at Wimbelton the same way Federer's or even Lleyton Hewitt's (my favorite) will, so I don't expect to see him in the finals there. What's fun about this all is that every time Nadal and Federer meet on clay, we get to see the greatest tennis player ever (perhaps) challenged by a true master of the clay court.
I can't wait to watch the match and I'm really looking forward to Wimbelton!
Cheers!

On 6/13/06,
a non-profit one that has as their main goal to be a service to the
community and their congregation. CC's main goal is to enrich Dougie and
his entourage and quite occasionally pat his lordship on the back when he
