I agree with Jim insofar as that a person should not recuse themselves simply because they have an opinion. However, I do think that someone that is suppose to be making a judgment that impacts many people monetarily should be open minded about the issue. If someone feels that they dislike a group or organization so intently, I think the responsible thing to do is recuse yourself. If you hate or love your neighbor, and you are called to jury duty to hear a case against them, do you think you could openly listen to all the facts and make a fair unbiased decision?
