<DIV>Good question. I knew you'd ask it. The distinction between
innocent and guilty is a legitimate observation, notwithstanding an occasional
mistake as in the case of Randall Dale Adams. Unfortunately, no system is
foolproof. Should we have no police forces simply because they on occasion
shoot an innocent bystander? Such cases as Randall's are extremely
rare and are FAR outnumbered by the innocent deaths preempted by executing
violent predators. </DIV>
