I am curious to anyone in the Say "Yes" to "No" Walmart crowd why they think the proposed location is a bad one.

1) It is on the edge of town.

2) It is not downtown taking away parking

3) It diverts traffic away from Third street which is overcrowded and dangerous

4) It is located next the largest student apartment complexes

5) It is right smack in the middle and within walking distance of four of the five largest low income housing complexes in the city.

6) It is near already existing grocery stores, retail, and automotive services.

What location would you prefer over the proposed one that the City would approve and the owner would sell to Walmart that is of the same size?

_DJA
