here, but for one point. We are talking about the story of the Eternal
Creator of everything humbling ‘himself’ and becoming a baby for the
purpose of recreating the entire cosmos—dirty diapers and all.
There is something ‘impossible’ about that, and there is something
a bit lovely about that kind of impossibility. But of course, we are not
talking about a logical impossibility. Rather, the Church Father notes
this when he said “I believe because it is absurd.” For him,
it was too absurd not to be true (although I’m sure we could find ways of
disagreeing about that around here!). But consider, mere myths might be
able to uplift the heart during winter spirit season, but they are not powerful
to save. Right?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
