John D's use of scripture displays his obvious ignorance of spiritural understanding. This is not a forum in which you are being asked to defend your belief in Christ, which is what these scriptures are referring to (and much more to those who actually do have a relationship with Christ, which means an understanding of the WHOLE Bible in context). Going out to the biblegateway and searching for a subject and pulling scriptures does not indicate your personal relationship with Christ, nor your understanding of the scriptures. For example, 1 Peter 3:15 is referring to the fact that if someone asks you about your faith in Christ, be ready to give them an answer about why you believe. Someone would ask you IF they actually saw something in your life that they wanted to understand. Reasonable/sane people are not impressed by one's ability to post scripture on the internet -- especially if it comes from another internet source. Ha!
