I apologize if I did not know EXACTLY what was meant by that. And yes, my sister-in-law is a volunteer EMT, not that that has anything to do with this. Just because the fire captain lives near a house does not mean the fire engine will get there any sooner. You refer to my brother and sister in law as living "around the corner" when it is advantageous to your argument, but not when I refer to them living near the bridge site...?</P>
<P>My statements regarding response time are not something I just made up off the top of my head. Any response time will be helped by a through-street. It's not rocket science.</P>
<P>As far as someone more willing to die in their home than have their street become a through-street, that is impressive. I sure wouldn't, but to each his own. </P>
