Association has endorsed two candidates in the November Moscow city election:
Nancy Chaney for mayor and Bob Stout for City Council (four-year
term). <BR><BR>The MCA Subcommittee on Elections and Debates (SED) met
numerous times over the spring and summer and interviewed
seven individuals before making this recommendation. The
MCA Board of Directors then ratified the SED's recommendation and approved these
endorsements. <o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>

style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt"><BR><FONT face="Times New Roman">The MCA makes no
financial contributions to the candidates, but encourages MCA members and the

style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt">’s Public Works/Finance Committee.<SPAN

Committee (water rates), Large-Scale Retail Development Emergency Ordinance
Committee, and Palouse Basin Water Summit Planning Committee. She is the
co-owner of Veterinary Ophthalmic Specialties of Moscow and is a registered
nurse. Chaney received a masters’ degree in environmental science from the

style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt">, raised on a family farm and ranch in Uniontown, and
graduated from </SPAN><st1:place><st1:PlaceName><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt">Colton</SPAN></st1:PlaceName><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt"> </SPAN><st1:PlaceType><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt">High School</SPAN></st1:PlaceType></st1:place><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt"> in 1989. He moved to
</SPAN><st1:City><st1:place><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt">Moscow</SPAN></st1:place></st1:City><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt"> in 2001 to complete his bachelor’s degree. In
2004 he received a Master’s of Arts degree in anthropology. In 2004, he
began working as Assistant Director of New Student Services with the
