>Andrew Crapuchettes alerted us that colleges downtown are good for a city
>-using Boston and Philadelphia as examples. Note to Andrew: try not to compare
>apples and oranges in public. This does not reflect well on your NSA
>training. Cities of a million plus vs. a town of 22,000 with a very small central
>business district are not quite the same thing. A quick review of the old
>Sesame Street Show which has a song called "One of these things is not like the
>others" although challenging, is definitely in order, Andy.

Rose,

Andrew is off on a business trip and can't respond, but as a friend, I can say that he didn't go to NSA (where do you get this stuff? it's fantastic); as a VP of a thriving economics firm specializing in education and regional development, you might not be on equal footing to sing Sesame Street to him---devastating as it was. I can't speak to the rest of your attacks, but they look like credibility builders. The inability to speak constructively in an internet forum doesn't bode well for creating helpful public dialogue. Hats off to Jerry Schutz for handling the crowd so well last night.
