w:st="on">Moscow</st1:City> has issued a Call for Artists for a public art
project to be located in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">South</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">Couplet</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType
w:st="on">Park</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> at the south entrance to the
community. The Mayor’s Heritage Project has four goals as outlined by
Mayor Marshall Comstock: 1. to pay tribute to our heritage; 2. to enhance the
south entrance to the city; 3. to welcome visitors to this part of the
Palouse; and 4. to highlight the downtown district.

project which must include all design, fabrication and installation
costs. Applications can be obtained by calling the Moscow Arts

finalists will be selected by September 2 and proposals will be reviewed on
