<P>With NSA in the downtown, tax revenues are higher because faculty, staff and students buy things downtown. When they buy things they pay sales tax. When they pay sales tax, our tax base grows. Further, as NSA expands, the tax base will only improve with it--more students, more teachers, more sales, more sales tax.</P>
<P>Compare this with so many of the students at the UI who, by not shopping are actively engaged in sales tax evasion. It's not something I enjoy pointing out, but it's pretty clear that NSA students have deeper pockets than the students at UI.</P>
