Whitman counties regarding economics, population, income, housing, employment,
water usage, school enrollment, migration, and streets and traffic.<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>The study was heavily used, but is now
used rarely because the information is ten years old.<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>Staff is requesting <st1:PersonName>Council</st1:PersonName>
consideration for participating in an update of the study, including
funding.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>Recent conversations with
the original authors of the study, who have agreed to work on an update to it,
have produced an estimate of $6,000.00 necessary for the update.<span
