<DIV><STRONG>Donavan - I am sorry I am jumping in on this but I need to ask Tim that earlier he stated that these courses are a "not a required course." It is amazing how the school system is trying to replace parents. In my opinion it would be the parents duty to teach their children how to fish and camping was the Boy/Girl Scouts, which I understand there are troops here. Also, Isn't there enough "green area" for fly fishing practice and to pitch a tent or three across the street at the 1912 center? The 1912 building has two floors of VACANT classrooms. Our tax money support it. Use it. I was just at a meeting for the 1912 building and they are looking for somone to rent the classrooms. Here is your opportunity to upgrade these classrooms to the finest labs and computer tech rooms available. The infastructure is already been put in. OMG - and it is accross the street from the High School. But, yet crossing the street, you say, is dangerous. So - build a bridge. Cheaper than building a new High School and would sure help the 1912 building pencil better.</STRONG></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><STRONG>Maybe a better idea since PE is not required is to have the students be responsible for the cost of the "fly fishing and camping" classes. Let them pay the expense.</STRONG></DIV>
