<DIV>Because I have a serious academic interest in Holocaust studies I noted
with concern a book recommendation on Dale's blog <A
href="http://right-mind.us/">http://right-mind.us/</A> , "<EM>From Darwin to
Hitler - Evolutionary Ethics, Eugenics and Racism in Germany</EM>." The
author, Dr. Richard Wikart, in addition to being a faculty member at
California State University, is a "Fellow" at the Discovery Institute's Center
for Science and Culture, an organization that promotes Intelligent Design rather
than evolutionary theory. The book is blurbed by the Conservative Bookclub
with the lead " How Darwinism led to the Holocaust And how it is destroying
respect for human life today". <A

be understandable - but alas, I guess we can only blame the intellectual company
