Whether or not I have one piercing in my ears is
not the question. The question is whether I want to be served by someone with
many piercings in places too painful to look at. I don't have any idea how just
looking at anyone you can tell that they don't eat meat, don't smoke (I guess
you could smell them!), are waxed!? or have had plastic surgery unless it was
botched dramatically. As far as never considering plastic surgery I will just
say its a nice world you live in where you don't need to consider it for
cosmetic reasons that have nothing to do with beauty. As to your mental
sanity...why do you so stongly wish to have these items placed on your face/body
which has not been a part of the USA culture but more of cultures wherein it is
a sign of slavery?? If you are so concerned with your absolute need to be a part
of a group who is involved in shocking actions...maybe there could be some
counseling needed. A question only you could answer. As for me I agree with a
good friend of mine...if I have eaten a meal and something didn't die...I didn't
really eat!! What that has to do with those who serve me in public places I
cannot imagine!! I do agree that the subject could go on and on and never be
solved. But, emplorers are not interested in grossing out their patrons or
shocking them. Simply as that.

I want to know why I can't get a job in this
town without removing my facial piercings. I have two small lip rings and

I'm quite disturbed after having gone to

removed my facial jewelry. I feel that this is discrimination, and that
its unacceptable. My jewelry does not affect my work performance in any
way. I am not lazy or a slacker. I am not a pot head. I am not a
punk. I am not mentally insufficient.

My jewelry is part of a philosophy, and is an
artwork. Its the closest thing I have to a religion. I will not change my
philosophy because people think its unprofessional, because I believe
professionalism lies in conduct, cleanliness, and performance. I take a
shower every day. I trimmed my hair last week. Doesn't that make me "clean
cut"? Or do I have to be a white Christian straight male to be able
to get any sort of professional treatment.
