The Windschuttle piece is well written but it does not have the quote
I'm looking for. The quote was a follow-up interview to a group of
writers, if I recall correctly, from <b>The Nation</b> in 1975 about
lessons learned from Vietnam. And no Ted, it wasn't in the form of "I
endorse the Khmer Rouge" but a comment about how the people of Cambodia
would be better off under the burgeoning Communist Regime.<br>

For the life of me though, I can't find it, but I'm not going to stop
looking just yet. In my mind I'm right. That, however, is a tricky
proposition.<br>

Perhaps I missed the quote by Noam Chomsky, which you declared you were
going to supply, that declares Chomsky "endorsed Pol Pot," as YOU phrased
it, in 1975 after the fall of Saigon. You have posted voluminously to V2020
since you made the assertion just mentioned, and I have not plowed through
every word of your posts, so it is possible I overlooked the Chomsky quote.
If so, I apologize in advance.
