I'm quite disturbed after having gone to
business after business and being told I might be able to work if I removed my
facial jewelry. I feel that this is discrimination, and that its unacceptable.
My jewelry does not affect my work performance in any way. I am not lazy or
a slacker. I am not a pot head. I am not a punk. I am not mentally
insufficient.

philosophy because people think its unprofessional, because I believe
professionalism lies in conduct, cleanliness, and performance. I take a shower
every day. I trimmed my hair last week. Doesn't that make me "clean cut"? Or do
I have to be a white Christian straight male to be able to get any sort of
professional treatment.
