<font color="#000000">Tom, I've been reading it all day. I know the
source and I know the context. I watched the interview on ABC this
morning and I've read just about everything written about it on the
wire today. The family values issue is fair game in a larger context,
but you obviously miss my point.<br>
<br>
Bush quit drinking and he probably quit drugging as well. <i>That</i>,
is his redeeming virtue. I can tell though that you may have difficulty
understanding the difference between virtues and values. You should
spend some time with that. You're proselytizing from the cheap seats
on this issue. <br>
<br>
One more thing since I'm feeling screedy at the moment. Your vitriol
does little to validate your positions on those that you wish to
impress. Your smarmy closing <big><big>"</big></big></font><font

implies that it may be me that is intolerant. You know little of my
politics and less of my opinion of George Bush. Your judgementalism
vacates any validity you may have in your point and it <font
color="navy">depreciates your argument. <br>
<br>
The more striking thing is that, from your postings, there are many
things in which we agree as to bad policy of this current
administration. It appears to me, however, that your emotions have the
better of you and, like many who let their rote ideology lead them by
the nose, you won't even take "yes" for an answer on issues where
similarities apply.<br>
