Planning Committee will be hosting a Public Forum at the MJHS Multi-purpose room
from 7-9 PM on Thursday, February 10th. The purpose of the meeting is take input
regarding what needs to be done with the educational facility needs of the MSD,
as well as answer any questions people may have regarding our facilities. The
Facility Committee will be there to address concerns as well as listen to the
Public.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>

decision on Feb. 24th regarding the scope and costs of a facility Bond measure.

SPORT/activity COULD HAVE A REPRESENTATIVE THERE TO SPEAK UP FOR OUR
STUDENT-ATHLETES/ACTIVITY participants. Coaches and/or advisors of the
teams/clubs would be welcome, also, to speak. New facilities have the
expectation of new PE/athletic/activity venues for the students. THE
SCHOOL BOARD WILL BE THERE TO LISTEN TO THOUGHTS AND CONCERS OF ALL WHO TAKE THE
TIME TO SPEAK TONIGHT. THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO REITERATE THE
IMPORTANCE OF ATHLETICS/ACTIVITIES IN THE LIVES OF THE STUDENTS, and indeed
instilling pride in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Moscow</st1:place></st1:City> as a whole. Activities ARE an important
part of a well-rounded educational experience...This from the IHSAA
website: "...All activities programs shall be formulated to promote
citizenship and the academic mission of the school."
